The Southeastern Conference announced its 2025 league softball schedule Wednesday, including Alabama's eight opponents across four home and four road series.
The series against the four-time defending national champion Sooners will be the first meeting between the teams since the 2019 Women's College World Series semifinals and the first at Rhoads Stadium since the 2015 Super Regional round. The 2025 SEC Softball Tournament will be held May 6-10 at Jack Turner Softball Stadium in Athens, Ga. The full schedule, along with game times and TV information, will be announced at a later date.

The SEC Volleyball Championship will take place in Savannah, Ga., from 2025-27
The Southeastern Conference has announced the relaunch of the SEC Volleyball Tournament, which will begin in 2025 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Ga. "With the restoration of the SEC Volleyball Tournament, we will now host a championship event in every Conference sport, providing our programs additional competitive opportunities as they prepare for NCAA postseason competition," said SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey in a SEC press release." |

Kalen DeBoer provided an Alabama football injury update on Malachi Moore, Qua Russaw, Cole Adams and Richard Young on Monday after the Wisconsin game.
Moore, Russaw and Young each left the win over Wisconsin with injuries. Adams sustained an injury in the South Florida game and did not play vs. Wisconsin. Alabama has an open week before facing Georgia a week from Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Here’s what DeBoer said about each player Monday. |

Alabama volleyball fell to North Alabama in three sets Wednesday night in Foster Auditorium by set scores of 25-20, 27-25 and 25-20.
After dropping the first two sets, Alabama (8-2) got off to a hot start in set three, leading 14-6 before North Alabama (4-7) stormed back with 11 unanswered points to take a 17-14 lead. The Crimson Tide drew back within a point, down 19-18, but the Lions ultimately held on to win the set, 25-20, and complete the sweep. |

The 4/4 Alabama football team showcased its explosivity on Saturday, as the Crimson Tide improved to 3-0 this season with a 42-10 win over Wisconsin.
Jalen Milroe starred yet again, with the junior quarterback finishing 12-of-17 for 196 yards and three touchdowns through the air. Milroe was Alabama's leading rusher as well, totaling 75 yards on 14 attempts, adding two rushing touchdowns to his stat line. |

Alabama volleyball capped a 3-0 weekend Saturday at the Roadrunner Classic with a sweep over Central Arkansas by set scores of 25-22, 25-21 and 32-30.
Alabama (7-1) jumped out to an early lead in set one but Central Arkansas (1-7) fought back to tie it at 9-9 and neither team was able to take a lead larger than two points until four unanswered from the Tide stretched its lead to 19-14. |

The Alabama men's basketball team will partner with Wake Forest to compete in a charity exhibition game on Oct. 18 in Birmingham, Ala., at the Boutwell Auditorium. All proceeds from the contest will support the Children's of Alabama.
Presale for tickets will be available on Sept. 10th and tickets will go on sale to the public on Sept. 12th. A tipoff time will be announced at a later date. |

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – In its opening race of the season, Alabama cross country swept both the team and individual titles on Friday morning at the Southern Showcase.
Victor Kiprop claimed the men's crown via a 23:25.87 run across the 8K course, while Doris Lemngole (16:03.85) secured the women's 6K title. Joining Kiprop in the top four of the men's race, were Dennis Kipruto (23:35.64 | third), Hillary Cheruiyot (23:37.60 | fourth), while newcomer Pheline Mining (16:35.49 | second) finished right behind Lemngole in the women's race. The No. 9-ranked Crimson Tide men needed only 41 points to take the team title, as all five scoring runners for Alabama finished in the top 25. Hudson Hurst (24:14.11 | 11th) and Charlie Rogers (24:33.99 | 22nd) rounded out UA's scoring five in the men's 8k. The No. 12 UA women concluded the season-opening meet with a 52-point, sweep-securing performance as newcomer Addison Dorenkamp (16:59.47 | ninth), Lilly Walters (17:12.69 | 17th) and Jami Reed (17:18.90 | 26th) rounded out the Tide's scoring five to help secure the team crown |

The Crimson Tide will face Texas in its SEC Conference opener on Thursday before welcoming Tennessee to Tuscaloosa for the first conference home match of the season
For the first time on the pitch, the Alabama soccer team (7-2) and No. 11 Texas (7-0-1) will meet as SEC Conference foes as the two programs open conference play in a head-to-head battle at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday. The Tide returns home Sunday to face Tennessee in UA's SEC home opener at 6 p.m. at the Alabama Soccer Stadium. |

The No. 24 Alabama soccer team (6-2) fell 1-0 in a road match against Michigan (1-5-1) at the U-M Soccer Stadium Sunday.
The deciding play came in the final minutes of the first half as a cross from Adi Walick found the head of Elle Ervin in the box. The Crimson Tide dominated the offensive stats but would be unable to find the equalizing shot. "Disappointed with our performance today. Michigan is a good team, but they've been struggling to get results, and we let them grow into the game. We did not come out like a team that was hungry to jump on them and take control of the game. We were too passive. (We) Gave them too much time and space, did not do enough in the attack and/or defense to make them uncomfortable. I thought our response in the second half was good. I appreciated the effort and mentality of the group, but it was too late. You can't wait until the second half and expect to win many games." |

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.
The No. 24 Alabama soccer team (6-1) recorded its sixth consecutive win, downing Purdue (4-2-1) in a 1-0 victory on the road Thursday night.
Leah Kunde notched the game's lone goal, intercepting a failed clearance by the Purdue defense in the 26th minute of action. From Head Coach Wes Hart "Really proud of the team tonight. I felt good about our first half. Thought we created some good chances and did some nice things in our attack. |
