White Defeats Crimson, 34-28, in 2024 A-Day Game

Tuscaloosa, AL

The White team (offense) defeated the Crimson squad (defense), 34-28, in the 2024 Golden Flake A-Day Football Game inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

A total of 72,358 fans were in attendance to witness the first game action of the Kalen DeBoer era.

Running back Jam Miller earned the Dixie Howell Award as the game's Most Valuable Player, finishing with 83 yards and two touchdowns on just eight carries.

Quarterback Jalen Milroe finished with 100 yards on 3-of-9 passing with a long of 52 yards to Germie Bernard. Bernard

Softball Shuts Out Texas A&M Saturday

Tuscaloosa, AL

Alabama softball handed Texas A&M just its third shutout loss of the season, 2-0, Saturday afternoon to open the weekend series at Rhoads Stadium.

With two on and two out in the bottom of the second inning, Alabama (30-8, 7-6 SEC) took the lead over Texas A&M (31-9, 10-6 SEC) on a two-run double from Abby Duchscherer.

DeBoer issues statement after Tybo Rogers arrested for rape

Tuscaloosa, AL

Alabama football head coach Kalen DeBoer released a statement on Thursday, after former Washington running back, Tylin “Tybo” Rogers, was arrested and charged with two counts of rape.

Rogers was charged with two different counts of rape. He was suspended indefinitely by Washington following the arrest.

Rogers played in the College Football Playoff for Washington, coached by DeBoer, after the alleged first incident in October — Rogers missed the Pac-12 title game against Oregon.

Beaver and Briski Earn SEC Softball Weekly Awards

Birmingham, AL

Following an Alabama sweep over Ole Miss last weekend, the Crimson Tide claimed a pair of weekly softball accolades from the Southeastern Conference Tuesday as Kayla Beaver was named the SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week and Jocelyn Briski was named the SEC Freshman of the Week.

Beaver went 2-0 in two starts vs. the Rebels, throwing a combined 11.2 shutout innings with 16 strikeouts over the two games.

Oats ‘Fully commited,’ to Bama, despite UK rumors

Nearly from the moment John Calipari’s impending move to Arkansas was announced.

Alabama basketball head coach Nate Oats was mentioned as a possible candidate for the Kentucky job.

On Monday, Oats released a statement to quell any rumors of a move.

Oats sent out the statement on social media.

Tuesday Night Alabama Softball Game at Samford Cancelled


Tuscaloosa, AL

Due to the threat of inclement weather, Tuesday's scheduled softball game between Alabama and Samford has been cancelled.

The game will not be rescheduled.

The Crimson Tide is back in action this weekend at Rhoads Stadium, hosting Texas A&M for a three-game series starting Saturday, April 13 at 11:30 a.m. CT on ESPN2.

Bama Defeated Ole Miss, 5-1, for the Sweep

Tuscaloosa, AL

After clinching the weekend series yesterday, Alabama secured the sweep with a 5-1 win over Ole Miss Sunday afternoon at Rhoads Stadium.

The win gives Alabama (29-8, 6-6 SEC) its first series sweep at home since 2022 and its 14th sweep all-time in a three-game series vs. Ole Miss (21-18, 3-12 SEC), including seven at home.

With two on and one out in the bottom of the second, the Crimson Tide took the first lead over the Rebels on a towering three-run home run from Kendal Clark that bounced off the scoreboard.

Baseball Suffers 10-1 Loss at UK on Sunday

Tuscaloosa, AL

Alabama baseball suffered a 10-1 loss to 12th-ranked Kentucky on Sunday at Kentucky Proud Park. The loss moved the 11th-ranked Crimson Tide to 22-10 on the season and 4-8 in Southeastern Conference play.

Kentucky got on the board with three in the second with Alabama getting a run of its own in the top of the third.

The Wildcats then added two in the home half of the third before putting the game out of reach with a five-run seventh.

Alabama clinches weekend series vs. Ole Miss

Alabama clinched its first SEC series win of the season with a 5-1 win over Ole Miss Saturday evening at Rhoads Stadium.

Alabama (28-8, 5-6 SEC) jumped on Ole Miss (21-17, 3-11 SEC) quickly in the bottom of the first, scoring four runs on a hit, fielder's choice, error and bases-loaded walk.

Jocelyn Briski (6-1) and the Crimson Tide defense only allowed two more batters to reach base safely the rest of the game

Alabama Falls to UConn in NCAA Final Four, 86-72


Tuscaloosa, AL

The No. 4 seed Alabama men's basketball team fell to defending national champion and top overall seed UConn, 86-72, in the 2024 NCAA Men's Final Four Saturday night inside State Farm Stadium.

Mark Sears led three Crimson Tide players in double figures with 24 points to go along with five rebounds and three assists.

Grant Nelson had a season-best 15 rebounds to go along with 19 points to earn his fourth double-double of the season and second in the NCAA Tournament.

NATIONALS BOUND! No. 8 Bama Headed to Fort Worth

The No. 8-ranked Alabama gymnastics team is headed to Fort Worth, Texas, for the 2024 NCAA Championships Semifinals, for the 39th time in program history.

UA advanced after punching its ticket with a 197.575 in the finals of the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional Championships Saturday night in Crisler Center on the University of Michigan campus.

The Oklahoma Sooners edged the Tide with a 198.400 and will also advance to the national semifinals.

Baseball Falls at Kentucky on Saturday, 7-0

Tuscaloosa, AL

Alabama baseball was blanked by 12th-ranked Kentucky, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon at Kentucky Proud Park.

The loss clinched the series for the Wildcats and moved the 11th-ranked Crimson Tide to 22-9 on the season and 4-7 in Southeastern Conference play.

Kentucky built a 3-0 lead after three frames, plating one in the first and two in the second.

The Wildcats added four in the sixth to make it a 7-0 affair, the eventual final.

#8 Bama Finishes 1st in Semifinal Session, Advances to Regional Final

Ann Arbor, Mich.

The No. 8 Alabama gymnastics team finished in first place Thursday at the Ann Arbor Regional semifinals, advancing to Saturday's regional final.

The Crimson Tide scored a 197.450, defeating Penn State (196.925), No. 9 Michigan (196.725) and Kent State (195.650).

As the top two finishers in the first of two semifinal rounds, the Tide and the Nittany Lions both will advance to Saturday's final.

Baseball Holds Off Late Rally from Samford for 11-10 Win

Tuscaloosa, AL

Alabama baseball held off a late rally by Samford to claim an 11-10 win on Wednesday afternoon at Joe Lee Griffin Field. Following the midweek, the 11th-ranked Crimson Tide is now 22-7 overall.

Alabama gained a 3-0 advantage early with a two-run first and one run in the second.

The Tide then added two more in the top of the fifth before Samford was able to get on the board with three in the home half of that inning.

Coleman Coliseum to Host NCAA Final Four Watch Party

Fans will have the opportunity to watch Alabama men's basketball make its first appearance in the NCAA Final Four from Coleman Coliseum on Saturday, April 6. The viewing is open to the public with doors set to open at 7 p.m. CT (tip scheduled for 7:49 p.m. CT).
