Alabama clinched its first SEC series win of the season with a 5-1 win over Ole Miss Saturday evening at Rhoads Stadium.
Alabama (28-8, 5-6 SEC) jumped on Ole Miss (21-17, 3-11 SEC) quickly in the bottom of the first, scoring four runs on a hit, fielder's choice, error and bases-loaded walk. Jocelyn Briski (6-1) and the Crimson Tide defense only allowed two more batters to reach base safely the rest of the game |
