Clemson, SC • Bama School Record Falls At Bob Pollock Invitational •
On the opening day of the Bob Pollock Invitational, Alabama track and field's Chelsea Igberaese broke her own school record in the women's weight throw.
Her 23.56-meter throw (77-3.75) also became a new facility record for Clemson's Rock Norman Track and Field complex. On the men's side, Khaleb McRae's run of 46.13 in the men's 400-meter race not only earned him a second-place finish at the meet, but also moved him into a tie for fifth, nationally, per USTFCCCA rankings that came out prior to this weekend's meet. After sweeping both weight throw event titles, the Crimson Tide ended with 14 top-five finishes on the opening day of the Clemson meet. |
