Alabama baseball earned a weekend sweep of Valparaiso thanks to an 11-1 win on Sunday afternoon at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The 17th-ranked Crimson Tide is now 8-0 on the young season.
Valparaiso got out front early for a second straight day, plating one run in the top of the first. Alabama answered with a two-spot in the home half and proceeded to score in six of the seven innings for the run-rule victory. |
