Tuscaloosa, AL Jalen Milroe was asked about what happened on Alabama’s last play against Michigan in the Rose Bowl after the game. The Wolverines defeated the Crimson Tide in overtime by stuffing Jalen Milroe at the line of scrimmage on 4th & Goal. The Alabama quarterback stated he felt grateful Alabama trusted him enough to put the ball in his hands on the play. “First thing, I’m appreciative of my coaching staff for believing in me to have the ball in my hands in that last play,” Milroe said “You win some, you lose some. It’s all part of the game…It came down to fall back to your level of training, and we just failed in that play because at the end of the day, I just trusted the guys up front for believing in me on the last play to have the ball and unfortunately, we just missed, and we just didn’t get in the end zone.” This article first appeared on Touchdown Alabama Magazine and was syndicated with permission. |
