Tuscaloosa, AL Alabama gymnastics put on a show Friday night in Coleman Coliseum, giving Crimson Tide fans their first look at the 2023-24 squad at the Crimson and White preview meet, as the White team took home the victory. Alabama showcased more than 30 routines in front of the Crimson Tide faithful. UA had a pair of gymnasts compete in the all-around – senior Shania Adams and sophomore Gabby Gladieux as 15-time All-American and super-senior Luisa Blanco competed on vault, balance beam and floor exercise. Juniors Corinne Bunagan and Lilly Hudson, senior Cameron Machado and sophomore Rachel Rybicki also competed in three events during the preview meet. Additionally, all four newcomers, Chloe LaCoursiere, Gabby Ladanyi, Natalia Pawlak and Jamison Sears, made their debut inside Coleman Coliseum. The Crimson Tide will open its season in Las Vegas for the nationally-competitive Super 16 meet on Jan. 6 |
