Tuscaloosa, AL Jim Carabin, vice president and general manager announced of Crimson Tide Sports Marketing, announced the addition of Tyler Watts as the color analyst for the University of Alabama football games in 2023. The Crimson Tide Sports Network radio crew will have Eli Gold back in the broadcast booth handling the play-by-play duties for all Alabama home games while Chris Stewart will call the action for the Crimson Tide's road contests. Watts will replace John Parker Wilson as the color analyst, who is stepping away from the booth after five years on the broadcast. Watts, who played in 35 career games as quarterback from 1999-2002, threw for 3,540 yards and 20 touchdowns in a Crimson Tide jersey. Former Alabama outside linebacker Christian Miller returns to the broadcast team for his second season to handle sideline reporting duties for all Crimson Tide games. The 2023 CTSN broadcast team will make their debut when Alabama opens the season on Saturday, September 2, when the Crimson Tide welcomes Middle Tennessee to Bryant-Denny Stadium. |
