• Bama Welcomes a Pair of Transfers to the Men’s Golf •

Alabama head coach Jay Seawell finalized the 2023-24 roster as he welcomed a pair of transfers in Connor Brown and Austin Coggin to the men's golf program.

Brown joins the Crimson Tide as a junior after spending the previous two seasons playing at UNC Greensboro, while Coggin is a fifth-year transfer who played four seasons at Auburn before coming to the Capstone.

Spent two seasons (2021-23) as a member of the UNC Greensboro golf team.

Competed in 13 tournaments across two seasons with the Spartans, including 10 tournaments as a sophomore in 2022-23.

Finished the year ranked 22nd in the conference and fourth on the team with a scoring average of 72.93 in his 30 rounds played.

Had a season-best fourth-place finish at the Grandover Collegiate with a 7-under 209.

Recorded his best 18-hole score with an opening round of 5-under 67 at the Bearcat Invitational.

Also competed in three events as a freshman when he averaged 75.44 strokes per round.

Spent four seasons (2019-23) as a member of the Auburn golf team.

Competed in 16 tournaments across his four seasons on the plains, including a career-best 10 events played as a junior in 2021-22.

Maintains a career average of 72.76 strokes per round across his 42 collegiate rounds of action.

Had a career-best tournament when he carded an 11-under 205 (67-67-71) at the Amer Ari Invitational, finishing tied for 10th overall.

He also set new career lows at the same tournament for 18 (67), 36 (134) and 54 holes (205).

As a junior, he averaged 71.75 shots per round through 24 rounds of play, good for second on the team.

Finished that season with three top-20 finishes, carded 13 rounds at par or better and seven coming in the 60s.
