Tuscaloosa, AL The Alabama women's basketball team dropped a 77-59 decision to the Arkansas Razorbacks Sunday afternoon inside Coleman Coliseum. With the loss, the Crimson Tide falls to 15-4 overall and 2-2 in Southeastern Conference play. Alabama held the lead at the half before Arkansas (14-5, 2-2 SEC) used a 10-0 to open the third quarter to take the lead for good. The Crimson Tide was led by Sarah Ashlee Barker's 18 points followed closely by Jessica Timmons with 13 points. Aaliyah Nye paced the team with a season high seven rebounds. Samara Spencer led the Razorbacks with 31 points and was one of three Razorbacks to earn at least 10 rebounds in the contest. |
