Tuscaloosa, AL COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Alabama women's basketball team (14-3, 1-1 SEC) defeated the Missouri Tigers, 79-64, Sunday night inside Mizzou Arena. The Crimson Tide shot 50 percent from the three-point line (15-30) and 72.7 percent from the charity stripe to claim its first Southeastern Conference win of the year. Alabama led for 36:22 of the game while Missouri only held a short lead for 31 seconds to cruise to the win. The Tide allowed the Tigers within five points in the final three minutes of regulation before scoring 12 of the game's next 14 points to score the 15-point win. |
