Tuscaloosa, AL • Softball Drops Sunday Series Finale to Missouri •
Looking for a series sweep in Sunday's weekend finale, Alabama took an early 3-0 lead but Missouri responded with 11 unanswered to win the game, 11-3, in run-rule fashion in five innings.
Alabama (26-11, 4-5 SEC) jumped ahead to an early three-run lead after a pair of home runs from Ally Shipman and Ashley Prange but Missouri (22-16, 2-10 SEC) got the momentum back with a five-run third to take a 5-3 lead. |
