Tuscaloosa, AL • Softball Drops Finale to Hawgs in 10th, 2-1 •
For the second straight night, Alabama had the bases loaded with a chance to get the walk-off win over Arkansas, but the Crimson Tide could not get it done again on Monday night in the series finale as the Razorbacks held on to win, 2-1, in 10 innings.
Alabama (22-8, 1-2 SEC) took the first lead over Arkansas (22-8, 3-3 SEC) on a two-out solo home run from Emma Broadfoot in the bottom of the second, but the Razorbacks tied it up in the top of the fourth on an RBI single by Lauren Camenzind. Arkansas stranded runners at the corners in the top of the fifth and the Crimson Tide left two on base in the sixth, as it remained knotted up at 1-1 heading to the seventh. |
