Tuscaloosa, AL ♦ Bama Defeats Salukis in Charity Exhibition ♦
The Alabama men's basketball team came away with a 73-64 win over Southern Illinois in Saturday's Charity Exhibition contest inside Foster Auditorium.
Proceeds of the Charity Exhibition will benefit the Community Service Programs of West Alabama's Alberta Head Start Program as a social injustice initiative supporting the local community. Alabama's newcomers scored 61 of the Crimson Tide's 73 point in Saturday's contest, led by Brandon Miller scoring a game-high 14 points. The Tide went on a run in the second half to jump out to a 67-46 lead, their biggest lead of the game, with just over six minutes left in the game and closed out the game for the victory. |
