Women's Golf Team: After claiming its first team title of the season to start the week, the Alabama women's golf team will compete in its second tournament closing out the week at the Mason Rudolph Championship. The 54-hole event Franklin, Tenn. will take place over three days at the par-72, 6,516-yard Vanderbilt Legends Club, beginning Friday morning at 10:05 a.m. CT Men's Golf Team: The No. 16-ranked Alabama men's golf team, fresh off a season-opening tournament victory at the Folds of Honor Collegiate last weekend, will return to action Friday morning when they tee off at the Olympia Fields Country Club/Fighting Illini Invitational (OFCC). The three-day, 54-hole event will be contested at the Olympia Fields Country Club in Olympia Fields, Ill. The OFCC Invitational will take place Friday through Sunday, Sept. 20-22, at the Olympia Fields Country Club North Course. The famed par-70, 7,310-yard track has served as host for two U.S. Opens (1928, 2003) and two PGA Championships (1925, 1961). |
